On a sunny day, me - ( Michelle ) and Mere met at the park. But it was kind of boring just playing on an old park so we decided, “Let’s play hide and seek”. I counted first. The timer  ticked down 4..3..2.. and finally it hit one. “I’m coming!” I shouted. 

I searched in the bushes. Not there. 

I searched in the pile of leaves. Not there.

I searched in and out, up and down, all the park. Then I gave up and shouted “I GIVE UP!” Mere didn’t respond...

I shouted again but still no response. I was getting worried. I thought “My best friend wouldn’t ditch me right?” Then I saw her sitting on a high tree on a branch the size of her wrist. 

I told her, “Come down.”

She said, “I can’t, it’s too high.”

So I told her I would come up there myself. I was afraid because of how high it was. I told her shuffle off the branch slowly to the tree trunk. 

Mere did it slow.

We both finally got down in relief. 

We decided not to play hide and seek and play tag. After that we played for a few hours and then it was time to go home. 

“Bye Mere” I said. 

“Bye Michelle” said Mere

cross country

Yesterday, it was cross country and I was a bit nervous. As we sat down in our year levels & our house colours. It was getting closer and closer to start running. The time ticked down and it was also was getting closer to year 5 as the year 4 ran off I knew it was almost time. 3...2...1... YEAR 5 they called we ran up 3..2..1.. GO we all ran off I was very tired so half way there. I stopped, walked then I just ran to the courts then waited for my friend. We walked to the gate then got sprayed with water and Alyssa walked 1 lap then got sprayed again then we walked the second lap and went in after then we went into the hall and did zumba.
